Purpose & Vision
The Tanzania Empowerment Association (TEA) is established with the primary goal of creating a strong, supportive community for Tanzanians residing in the Pacific Northwest. The association is built on the core belief that collective strength leads to individual and community growth.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support one another socially, mentally, and economically, fostering a sense of belonging, stability, and empowerment for all members. We aim to:
- Empower individuals through shared knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities
- Provide a support system for emotional and mental well-being
- Promote economic growth through collaboration, networking, and resource sharing
- Build a united Tanzanian community that uplifts each member

Membership
Membership in TEA is exclusive to Tanzanians residing in the Pacific Northwest.
To maintain commitment and sustainability of the association:
- Membership is required to participate in the group
- New members will pay a one-time enrollment fee
- Members will contribute monthly dues, with the amount determined collectively by the group
These contributions support:
- Community events
- Emergency support initiatives
- Administrative needs
- Development programs for members
